Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai
Itinerary:
Your tour will start with a drive towards Lao Chai village, the home of the Black Hmong people. After driving for 5km, you will begin a walk uphill from the Lao Chai hanging bridge to Ta Van Hmong village. Along the way, you will see gorgeous views of rice-terraced fields in Muong Hoa Valley from a sightseeing point.
Continuing the trek, you will walk downhill on a buffalo route, passing through rice fields and bamboo forests until you reach the waterfall in Giang Ta Chai village. Here, you will have lunch at a local restaurant at the base of the waterfall. After completing a few challenging kilometers of trekking, you will enjoy a delicious lunch.
After lunch, your trek will resume. The first 500 meters will be uphill, and then a buffalo trail will take you to the hamlets of the Red Dao people. Your tour guide will explain the differences between the customs, costumes, and traditional culture of the Red Dao and Hmong people.
After bidding farewell to the Red Dao people, you will trek uphill to the main road where a car will be waiting to take you back to Sapa town. Your trek will come to an end!
