Thank you for supporting the education of ethnic minorities in Sapa.
Your support helps provide sustainable careers for our local ethnic minority trekking guides.

1. Booking Procedure

  2. Bookings are confirmed via email. Full payment must be made before your tour at our head office.

  3. Payment can be made in cash (USD/VND) or by Visa/Mastercard. A receipt will be provided.

2. Responsibilities of Green Local Travel

Green Local Travel is responsible for delivering services as described, except in cases of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics).

  • If Green Local Travel modifies your itinerary, transportation, or accommodation, we will either:

    • Provide an equivalent alternative, or

    • Offer a refund for the difference if the service provided is of lower value.

3. Responsibilities of Guests

  • Guests are responsible for any damage or loss of rental equipment (e.g., motorbikes, bicycles).

  • Guests must possess a valid international driving license when renting motor vehicles. Sapa’s roads are mountainous and challenging for inexperienced drivers.

  • Be polite but firm with street peddlers. Our trekking guides belong to the same communities and cannot always intervene.

  • Always carry our business card in case you need assistance.

    Train Tickets: Only hand over train vouchers to Green Local Travel staff or official train personnel with ID. If in doubt, contact us immediately.

    Valuables: Keep passports and important belongings with you at all times. We offer secure storage at our office, but we do not recommend leaving valuables in vehicles.

    In case of lost valuables, report immediately to the nearest police station.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

A. If the Guest Cancels

We strive to minimize cancellation fees but must follow policies set by our service providers. The cancellation charges are:

Cancellation TimeFee (% of total service cost)

  • More than 30 days before the tour: 10%

  • 30 - 10 days before the tour: 20%

  • 10 days - 72 hours before the tour: 30%

  • 72 - 48 hours before the tour: 50%

  • 48 - 24 hours before the tour: 70%

  • Less than 24 hours before the tour: 100%

🔹 Train, bus, or flight tickets: Full price must be paid upon booking and are non-refundable.

B. If Green Local Travel Cancels

Green Local Travel reserves the right to cancel tours only in cases of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, epidemics). In such cases, guests will receive a full refund, but we do not provide additional compensation.

5. Travel Insurance

We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel and health insurance before traveling in Vietnam.
