2 DAYS VILLAGES TREK

Description:

Doing a trek in Ha Giang will allow you to discover the daily lives of the Tay and Dao Ao Dai people, as well as learn about their culture and traditional costumes. You will also have the chance to immerse yourself in nature and breathe fresh air in the mountainous area.

Day 1: Ha Giang city - Tha village – Na Thac – Lung Vai village (16km)

The day starts at 8 am when your guide picks you up from your hotel in Ha Giang. Together, you will take a mini-van to Thon Tha Village. The trek begins by ascending through lush terraced rice paddies and winding through small Tay villages. The entire trek is home to local Tay and Dao ethnic minority peoples. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to meet local people working in the fields for conversations and photographs, as well as children playing along the trail.

After a 9 km trek, the tour stops at Lung Vai Village for a picnic lunch. There, you can meet a local Dao family who will invite you to explore their traditional house and share their culture. After an hour of rest and relaxation, the trek continues to Ha Than Village, where you can take an afternoon break to swim in the cool waters beneath the village's beautiful waterfall. The day ends in Thon Tha Village, where you will stay overnight in the house of the Tay people.

Day 2: Tha village – Khuoi Mi – Tha village – Ha Giang city (15km)

Day two starts at 8:00 a.m. when you can join village activities such as feeding the animals, cleaning the house, gardening, and preparing breakfast. Alternatively, you can stroll around the village to meet the locals and take photographs as the day begins. After breakfast, the trek begins through a green valley and up the mountain, linking Thon Tha to Khuoi My village. Along the way, the guide will share stories with you about the unique culture of the Dao Ao Dai people, which you will get to experience in Khuoi My village. En route, you will stop to eat a picnic lunch or dine at the house of a local family. After trekking 7 km, you will arrive at Khuoi My Village. Home to about 200 Dao Ao Dai ethnic minority households, Khuoi My Village is located at the foot of Mt. Tay Con Linh, the highest mountain in Ha Giang.

After lunch, you can relax for a while and conserve your energy for the trek to the national highway, where our van will pick us up and drive us back to Ha Giang.

This marks the end of the trip.
